It was in 2015 I believe when my spouse and I attended a workshop with a dietitian. Since then we have been increasingly conscious about the effects of food on our bodies and minds. That event contributed to our becoming vegetarians – although I must admit: we enjoy a little fish once in a while.
The other factor contributing to this change of diet is our growing concern for animal welfare. I honestly can’t stand the way the industry treats animals as things or machines. As a kid as was mesmerized by nature. My realization has grown that humans are part of a fragile ecosystem and I have found a rekindled respect for nature.
As the father of three young adults I also want to make the world a better place for future generations. Research, and even Unilever’s CEO, support my vision that a sustainable world is one where humans adopt a plant-based diet.

Ik herken me in je liefde voor de natuur, waardoor met groeiend bewustzijn het niet meer goed voor mij voelt de vleesindustrie te steunen. Veranderen kan echt, als je wilt. Good for you, dat je zoveel progressie hebt gemaakt in het ervaren van je gezondheid!
